Hey Boomers! \"\"<\/h2>\n

Is it just me or are these months going by faster and faster? It seems like just yesterday I was welcoming you all to the last issue! Definitely, there's been a lot going on to keep the time flying by. I've been having a great time talking to you all on Facebook and Twitter, it's great to see how many vocal fans we have out there! <\/p>\n

Also taking up our time is the preparation for this year's Summer of Sonic event! Expect to see us with a definite presence there, again. The guest list once again includes STC alumni Nigel Dobbyn as well as the return of Nigel Kitching, so make sure you get along to it! (You'll also have the chance to meet some faces from Archie's Sonic comic, but that choice is up to you) 25th of June. More details at the Summer of Sonic website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also, the 29th of May marks STC's 18th birthday, as well as Nigel Kitching's [data expunged] birthday. Head on over to Speedlines<\/a> to send them your best wishes! <\/p>\n

Anyway, on to issue 254! I'm sure you'll have noticed the outstanding cover we have this issue. As part of Sonic's 20th anniversary, we're bringing you something special with each release, this time a cover pencilled and inked by the magnificent Nigel Dobbyn. Colours are by our very own Pete Murphy. I'm sure you'll agree it's an excellent collaboration! <\/p>\n

In the strips, we've got serious fireworks as Sonic clashes with Amy. It's the first time the pair have met since Robotnik's invasion and Amy wants some answers! See if she gets the gets them in War of the Rose<\/a>! <\/p>\n

Giving you a double dose of Amy Rose, Vane Hopes<\/a> sees her on bodyguard duty as she once again has to endure the company of international singing star, Fabian Vane! <\/p>\n

The current chapter for Shorty and Tekno comes to a close this issue. Will they make it home or will they fall victim to the plans of the evil god, Set? Even if they do make it home, will things ever be the same for the pair again? The journey concludes in Come Crashing Down<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Finally, the House of the Dead gang dive head-first into fresh terrors as Charnel House<\/a> continues. You may want to peek at this story through your fingers!<\/p>\n

Sonic<\/h4>

Sonic is the former hero of Mobius. Despite his recent framing for numerous crimes and terrorist activity, he continues to fight against evil wherever it crops up. Currently he has helped Ebony against the Order of Magick and met the mysterious Blaze, who left without a trace. What sort of adventures will Sonic have as a fugitive struggling to control his inner demon?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"Amy<\/div>

Amy Rose<\/h4>

Amy used to be Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend, although in recent years has matured and now is a freedom fighter in her own right. Amy recently fought a group of dolls which bared a striking resemblance to Tails, these new enemies are in unknown numbers and Amy has to warn mobius of the threat!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"Tekno\"<\/div>

Tekno<\/h4>

Tekno has been trapped with Shorty on another world for months. Being a scientific genius, she has been slowly losing grip without any access to technology. She\u2019s heading down a dark path and desperately needs to get back to Mobius.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tails<\/h5>\n

Tails is an optimistic young fox who uses his two tails to fly for short periods. He used to idolise Sonic, but now he\u2019s the one who\u2019s the hero of Mobius! <\/p>\n

Shorty<\/h5>\n

As Shortfuse the Cybernik, Shorty the squirrel was one of Mobius\u2019 most powerful heroes. Set turned Shorty\u2019s armour against him and has been setting up a trap to keep he and Tekno on another world. Shorty however, might not need to be trapped\u2026<\/p>\n

Set<\/h5>\n

Set was an old enemy of Tekno. He trapped her and Shorty in another world to take his revenge. He was eventually thwarted and, although apparently killed by Tekno, he managed to recover and is still trying his best to stop them from returning home.<\/p>\n

House of the Dead<\/h4>\n

The Story so Far...<\/h5>\n

Earth, 2018: fifteen years after manufactured armies of zombies swarmed the Earth, created to murder mankind! Survivors are at risk from both the undead hordes & their controllers and power-grabbing groups like the Resurrection Men\u2026 but in post-zombie London, humanity refuses to stay down! <\/p>\n

Thomas Rogan<\/h5>\n

Experienced, heroic, and downright dangerous, AMS agent Rogan has been fighting the zombies since 1998. He just rescued his wife and is returning home\u2026 <\/p>\n

Sophie Rogan<\/h5>\n

Originally a scientist, twenty years of zombie fighting with AMS has turned her into a dangerous combatant \u2013 but fighting zombies has never been as challenging as being a mother! She recently learnt about a threat called NAOMI. <\/p>\n

Lisa Rogan<\/h5>\n

She may be a normal light-hearted young girl, but growing up in the apocalypse has seen her grown into a skilled fighter. <\/p>\n

G <\/h5>\n

Immaculately dressed and always cool, AMS agent G\u2019s been fighting at Rogan\u2019s side for over 20 years. He\u2019s an inhumanly good shot, and was strangely unaffected by a severe psychic assault\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
