The first page of "Good Luck Chuck" was drawn from this page of script by Tom Huxley...
Nigel Kitching's Pencils
Nigel Kitching drew out the full page in pencil. He knew he was only going to draw the central panel, but he had to know how it would fit on the page! Notice that Nigel has added one panel to the start of the page...
With the page fully pencilled, Nigel set about finalising the lines for his panel on a separate page using inks and a lightbox. Can you spot all the hidden references to past Decap adventures in this panel?
Colours for the main panel (by Nigel Kitching)
Having scanned the page, Nigel then set about colouring it using Adobe Photoshop!
Colours by Nigel Dobbyn
Meanwhile, on a lark, Nigel Dobbyn decided to ink and colour the Igor panel on his computer! We liked it so much we thought we'd bring it in!
Bringing it together...
So Stiv assembled all the panels onto one page - with them all in such different stages it looks a bit like Frank N. Stein's monster!
Stiv finished the remaining panels and added a logo...
The final page!
...while Michael Corker gave Stiv's colours a final polish, Tom Huxley wrote some new dialogue and Shanna Hand lettered it all up!
